Penguin Awareness Day 2024

This year to mark Penguin Awareness Day allow me to turn the spotlight on our very own Hoiho - Yellow-eyed penguins - the only penguin in the world with a pale yellow band through the eye.

All images and video footage was captured on the Canon R5 paired with a Canon RF 800mm f11 lens.
